Responsibilities
- Monitor and track application vulnerabilities using security scanning tools like SAST, SCA (Black Duck), DAST, Checkmarx.
- Perform daily monitoring of application security posture using corporate security dashboards and compliance reports.
- Coordinate with application development and support teams for timely remediation of security vulnerabilities.
- Review and validate vulnerability remediation actions, including code fixes, configuration changes, and verification of false positives.
- Support application security testing activities (SAST, SCA, DAST).
- Ensure security fixes are deployed through approved change management and release processes.
- Maintain application compliance status and align with corporate security requirements.
- Update remediation details and status in JIRA or relevant ticketing systems.
- Prepare and share regular security remediation status updates.
- Act as a point of contact between application teams, security teams, and stakeholders.
- Provide advanced technical support using Nessus and VAPT tools.
- Perform detailed root cause analysis on escalated incidents.
- Contribute to knowledge management by updating the knowledge base and conducting training sessions.
- Resolve complex support tickets within agreed SLAs.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and Csat.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Nessus and VAPT tools for vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory compliance in the support operations domain.
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) - Optional but valuable.
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) - Optional but valuable.
