An SCCM/MECM L2 Administrator is needed to manage daily endpoint infrastructure, software deployments, and patch compliance, while resolving escalated technical issues. The role involves creating and deploying applications, monthly updates, and third-party patches, maintaining OSD for Windows deployments, monitoring client health, and supporting modern management transitions.

Responsibilities

  • Handle escalated L2 support tickets regarding failed software installations, broken client agents, or policy sync errors.
  • Create, test, and deploy applications, monthly Microsoft updates, and third-party patches, ensuring high compliance percentages.
  • Maintain boot images, drivers, and Task Sequences for Windows 10/11 deployments using Windows Deployment Services (WDS).
  • Monitor site status, boundary groups, distribution points, and client agent health metrics.
  • Write basic SQL queries or use PowerShell scripts to generate custom reports on hardware/software inventory and deployment statuses.
  • Support cloud integration, co-management setups, and Autopilot provisioning workflows alongside traditional SCCM.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of MECM/SCCM architecture.
  • Proficiency in WSUS configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with Group Policies.
  • Proficient in PowerShell or VBScript for task automation and fix deployments.
