Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Sales floor team to ensure consistent product range presentation and customer shopping experience.
  • Drive repeat visitation by maintaining store merchandising standards and ensuring a great customer meeting.
  • Hire, onboard, and train co-workers, creating individual development plans.
  • Manage resource planning, co-worker relations issues, and performance.
  • Drive sales by ensuring co-workers have product knowledge, IKEA Concept tools, and home furnishing expertise.
  • Monitor and follow up on sales, supply, and customer insights KPIs.
  • Ensure optimal Sales Location Management (SLM) for product availability.
  • Secure execution of the commercial calendar, strategies, and workbriefs.
  • Plan and implement activities and add-ons throughout the store.
  • Handle customer and co-worker issues in a positive and quick manner.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented (service or retail) industry.
  • Experience leading and developing people, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Experience in customer service, problem-solving, and conflict handling techniques.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, slide, or transfer (26-50 lbs) frequently.
  • Ability to stand, walk, talk, type, reach, hear, see, and twist more than 46% of the time.
  • Fully open work schedule availability including evenings and weekends.
