Responsibilities
- Review and process customer purchase orders for timely entry into ERP systems.
- Generate internal sales orders and validate commercial, technical, and financial information.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations and due diligence requirements.
- Prepare letters of credit and guarantee requests in collaboration with Finance and Sales teams.
- Process orders in line with financial and technical requirements and address discrepancies.
- Provide order acknowledgments to customers and confirm compliance with requirements.
- Obtain quotations from factories and suppliers and ensure alignment on pricing and specifications.
- Generate and issue purchase orders to factories, suppliers, and project management teams.
- Review supplier acknowledgements for pricing, delivery, quantities, and technical accuracy.
- Manage customer change orders effectively.
- Coordinate with Logistics, Order Management, and Project Management teams for customer invoicing.
- Build strong working relationships across functions for efficient order execution and customer success.
- Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) practices.
- Maintain full utilization of the Emerson Safety App and support safety improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience supporting order management, customer service, sales operations, or related business processes within manufacturing, industrial, OEM, Oil & Gas, valve, or similar industries.
- Proficiency with customer relationship management systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate across functions, and deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Understanding of financial controls, compliance requirements, and order processing best practices.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Oracle ERP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
- Knowledge of international logistics, Incoterms, payment terms, and regional taxation requirements.
- Experience coordinating global or cross-regional customer orders and supply chain activities.
- Familiarity with trade compliance and import/export documentation processes.
- Experience working in multinational industrial or manufacturing environments.
