- Maintain awareness of the Showroom matrix to ensure a diverse mix of styles, living situations, and price levels.
- Leverage visual merchandising expertise to enhance the distinctiveness of the IKEA identity through impactful store layout and presentations.
- Drive business growth by executing the store action plan and collaborating across functions.
- Apply local insights to create inspiring, affordable presentations that reflect diverse styles.
- Prioritize visitor experience by minimizing disruption, maintaining safety, and ensuring strong visual impact.
- Follow established routines and responsibilities, collaborate across functions, act swiftly to seize commercial opportunities.
- Ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-consciousness in range presentations by applying US-adapted guidelines, global tools, and best practices.
- Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is strong and embraces diversity.
Requirements
- 1 year relevant work experience.
- Experience working with visual merchandising or interior design in a retail environment.
- Visual competence with a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- A passion for home furnishing, retailing, design and how people live at home.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Enthusiastic about assignments and working with others in a team.
- Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50lbs and walking frequently.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Interior Design or design-based field preferred.
