Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Doctorate Degree program in machine learning, statistics, computer science, or a relevant field.
- Physically located in manager's Microsoft worksite location for the duration of the internship.
- Minimum of two reference letters.
- Cover letter.
- Relevant work or research samples.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Python and broad computer-science fundamentals.
- Experience with neural network algorithms and computer vision problems.
- Experience with large-graph, statistical graph theory, and graph machine learning algorithms.
- Experience with large language models and retrieval-augmented-generation.
- Completed graduate courses in matrix analysis, probability, and statistics.
- Prior research experience evidenced by publications in top-tier machine learning journals or conferences.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Proficient ability to learn, analyze and solve hard problems.
Benefits
- USD $6,810 - $13,480 per month base pay.
- USD $8,920 - $14,610 per month base pay in San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Potential eligibility for additional benefits and compensation.
