Atlas Copco is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead divisional product and process improvement projects for their Specialty Rental Division. This role focuses on increasing fleet reliability and improving operational efficiency through technical initiatives and system enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with regional operations, factories, and IT developers.
  • Ensure accuracy and continuous improvement of reliability KPIs and dashboards.
  • Act as the operations representative in cross-functional project teams.
  • Proactively identify and drive improvements in processes, systems, and procedures related to reliability and service operations.
  • Drive technical product initiatives and process & system improvements.
  • Support regions in quality reporting by training teams and following up on reported issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment and processes.
  • Technical affinity is preferred; willingness to learn is a must.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to adopt new IT systems, including AI and novel applications.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of compressors, diesel engines, and generators, steam, chillers, pumps is a very nice to have, but no show stopper if you don’t have it.
  • Experience developing AI-based tools to support technicians in troubleshooting equipment.
  • Experience defining new concepts and process improvements within Salesforce operations system.
  • Experience defining, implementing, and maintaining reliability KPI dashboards.
