We are seeking a full-time Record to Report Senior Analyst to join Alstom in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This role is responsible for the effective performance of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Closing & Reporting processes. Ideal candidates have 2-4 years of experience and familiarity with IFRS and SAP.

Responsibilities

Coordinate activities for assigned country/ies and ensure daily/periodic activities are delivered according to SLA and OLA commitments.
Collaborate with team and business partners to resolve complex issues and queries.
Perform General Ledger activities, including journal adjustments, approvals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Execute Fixed Asset activities such as transfers, disposals, depreciation runs, and reconciliations.
Manage Closing & Reporting activities, ensuring completeness and timely completion.
Prepare necessary data for AES and monthly/quarterly/annual reports and statistics.
Ensure delivery of tax-related reportorial requirements, including VAT, Intrastat, and EC Sales List.

Requirements

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accounting or economic field.
2-4 years of experience in an Accounting department (General Ledger accounting or external audit preferred).
Familiarity with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
PC literate (MS-office tools).
Good MS Office skills.
Fluency in English language.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in SAP ERP system is a plus.
