Emerson is looking for a Quality Engineer in Eger, Hungary, to provide professional support to production, primarily in the automotive sector. Responsibilities include leading problem-solving initiatives, coordinating audits, and maintaining customer relationships. The role requires a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering with at least two years of experience in the automotive quality field.

Responsibilities

Support daily production activities, mainly in the automotive area, when quality intervention is required.
Lead the problem-solving team and ensure there are no obstacles.
Act as quality representative in projects (product development, relocation, improvement).
Coordinate product sampling and product audit processes.
Conduct process audits.
Supervise and control own quality KPIs.
Maintain effective customer relationships.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Quality engineering
Preferably 2 years of experience in the automotive industry within a quality engineering environment.
Confident application of structured problem-solving methodologies (Ishikawa, 8D, FTA, etc.).
English knowledge – professional level.
Hungarian knowledge - professional level.
Team player, action-oriented and driving results with practical attitude.
Ability to work independently and accurately.

Desired Qualifications

VDA 6.3 process auditor qualification
Practical application of Six Sigma methodologies
Experience as a Functional Safety representative
