Responsibilities
- Test code at the user level, both manually and with automated tools.
- Understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with Perl/Java scripts and/or user-level automated tools.
- Work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation.
- Work with groups such as Product Management, User Interaction, and Customer Support to understand customer usage models.
- Develop test plans and suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests.
- Drive the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies.
- Support org-wide automation requirements.
- Work on tech projects that drive business critical projects related to Seller Registration and Listing Quality.
Requirements
- 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing

- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control.
- Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Experience managing and troubleshooting networks.
- Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Experience working with scripting languages like Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent.
