Responsibilities

  • Support and execute proof-firing activities in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements.
  • Accurately record firing results, observations, malfunctions, and test data.
  • Prepare proof-firing reports and maintain complete test records.
  • Ensure proper handling, identification, storage, and accountability of ammunition.
  • Support proof-firing preparations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Stop or suspend testing when unsafe conditions or deviations are identified.
  • Support investigations into proof-test failures, incidents, or abnormalities.
  • Contribute to the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support the development and training of associates and supervisors.
  • Support external audits, inspections, and visits from regulatory or certification bodies.
  • Maintain and promote associate safety standards.
  • Prepare monthly scheduled activity and inspection reports.

Requirements

  • High school graduate from any discipline.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in defence weapon systems, ammunition testing, proof-firing operations, quality assurance, or defence testing environments.
  • Knowledge within Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately record and report test data.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Hindi and English.
  • Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and requirements.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment, hazard identification, and emergency response procedures.
  • Experience with test instrumentation, measurement equipment, and technical data recording.
  • Understanding of applicable technical specifications, standards, and testing procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Must pass a security vetting.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of crisis and incident management principles is considered an advantage.
