Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the procurement and logistics team for Motors Manufacturing.
  • Synchronize Supply Chain processes with Industrial requirements.
  • Ensure supplier deliveries, logistics flows, stock policy, and system management meet QCD objectives.
  • Manage vendor contracts and ensure compliance with terms, including on-time delivery.
  • Pass gate reviews related to Supply Chain (DFQ).
  • Develop processes for efficient Material Resource Planning (MRP) data integrity.
  • Improve supply chain performance through tools and techniques, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Support supplier performance development.
  • Plan workload to synchronize stakeholders, maintain service levels, and reduce global inventories.
  • Undertake short-term planning for line replenishment and track missing parts.
  • Plan interfaces to suppliers for material availability.
  • Coordinate Supply Chain activities for planning changes, supplier changes, or technical modifications.
  • Provide date of modifications applicability to avoid excess inventory.
  • Support the Supply Chain organization in critical delivery issues at suppliers.
  • Manage material availability and anticipate material shortages.
  • Coordinate Supply Chain activities to secure end of production while minimizing costs and obsolete inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies in warehouse operations.
  • Define vendor requirements regarding logistics.
  • Define warehouse layouts, internal flows, and storage policy.
  • Define line feeding layout and kitting.
  • Manage continuous improvement plans for internal and external flows.
  • Manage physical material flow (goods reception, warehousing, picking, kitting, online replenishment, parts shipment, transport).
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels.
  • Oversee monitoring of physical stock (value level) and Work in Progress (WIP) levels.
  • Prioritize resources, facilitate team alignment, and set/cascade KPAs.
  • Drive appropriate behavior in line with company values.
  • Champion and drive a performance culture.
  • Proactively manage direct reports, addressing non-performance and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure direct reports have requisite skills and competency sets through mentorship and coaching.
  • Implement people management practices for employee engagement, empowerment, skills development, talent retention, and succession planning.
  • Maintain an environment of integrity and ethics.
  • Act as a change champion for functional change, culture, and diversity projects.
  • Implement a learning culture.
  • Develop and execute functional and leadership skills development strategies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain.
  • 5 - 8 Years Experience in supply chain in an industrial / manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with application of ERP systems (e.g. SAP (Supply Chain)).
  • Experience with project management.

Desired Qualifications

  • Post graduate qualification in Supply Chain (advantageous).
