Responsibilities
- Lead fire alarm system projects from concept, design, and procurement through installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and technical performance.
- Coordinate with authorities, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in the design and development of fire alarm and life safety system solutions.
- Perform risk assessments, technical evaluations, cost estimations, tender documentation, and project planning.
- Ensure compliance with applicable fire safety regulations, industry standards, and Scania requirements.
- Support testing, commissioning, functional verification, and system acceptance.
- Drive continuous improvements in project execution, technical solutions, and working methods.
- Maintain close communication with customers, facility management, production, and operational organizations.
Requirements
- Proactive and structured project manager with experience in fire alarm systems and technical project delivery.
- Previous experience in project management, engineering, or system design within fire detection, fire alarm systems, or building safety systems.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
- A university degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and contract management is considered an advantage.
- Experience as a Construction Work Environment Coordinator (BAS-P/BAS-U) or equivalent is considered an advantage.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools is highly valued.
