Responsibilities

  • Lead fire alarm system projects from concept, design, and procurement through installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and technical performance.
  • Coordinate with authorities, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in the design and development of fire alarm and life safety system solutions.
  • Perform risk assessments, technical evaluations, cost estimations, tender documentation, and project planning.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable fire safety regulations, industry standards, and Scania requirements.
  • Support testing, commissioning, functional verification, and system acceptance.
  • Drive continuous improvements in project execution, technical solutions, and working methods.
  • Maintain close communication with customers, facility management, production, and operational organizations.

Requirements

  • Proactive and structured project manager with experience in fire alarm systems and technical project delivery.
  • Previous experience in project management, engineering, or system design within fire detection, fire alarm systems, or building safety systems.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
  • A university degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electrical engineering and contract management is considered an advantage.
  • Experience as a Construction Work Environment Coordinator (BAS-P/BAS-U) or equivalent is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools is highly valued.
