Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical oversight for carbon reduction, clean energy, and water strategy in APAC.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to develop and execute strategic initiatives for Google’s net zero and sustainability commitments.
- Lead efforts with external experts and industry partners to drive progress on regional climate priorities.
- Manage a portfolio of strategic projects and initiatives that advance the climate operations organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience with carbon accounting and methodologies or energy markets.
Desired Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in climate science, Green House Gas (GHG) Standards and accounting, or the energy industry.
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience leading and executing complex strategic and operational initiatives for large organizations.
- Experience developing data-driven insights and translating and presenting these into meaningful recommendations for multiple audiences, including the C-Suite level.
- High-sense of organization and oriented towards execution.
