The Production Worker will adhere to safety and quality standards, assist with process programming, and maintain 5S management and basic equipment maintenance. This role involves data recording, participating in improvement activities, and initial training of new employees in a highly automated furniture manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety operating standards and on-site safety requirements.
- Adhere to quality standards and provide suggestions for quality improvement.
- Assist process engineers in setting up product processing procedures.
- Participate in developing production operation standards (startup, adjustments, changeovers, etc.).
- Follow and implement 5S management and improvements.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and keep records.
- Record production data and complete production logs.
- Participate in on-site improvement activities and collaborate with process and equipment departments for problem analysis.
- Responsible for initial and refresher training for employees.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Good learning, comprehension, and communication skills; observant and thoughtful.
- Strong sense of autonomy and a strong desire to learn.
- Strong hands-on ability and a proactive attitude towards work.
- Mechanical or automation related study background.
- Basic computer operation skills.
- Experience in mechanical manufacturing or processing is preferred.
- Ability to operate simple production equipment independently is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools.
- English language proficiency is a plus.
