Manage and oversee entire shift production activities
Ensure safety standards are followed and promote a safe working environment
Report first aid cases, near misses, and improvement opportunities
Ensure strict adherence to SOPs and process controls
Coordinate with PED, Maintenance, Quality, and SCM teams to achieve shift KPIs (OTD, OEE, PEFF, OA)
Ensure production quality and timely delivery of products
Optimize resource utilization and improve production line efficiency
Drive multi-skilling initiatives and manpower rotation for flexibility
Lead, coach, and motivate shop floor teams to achieve operational goals
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot production/process issues
Drive Kaizen and suggestion activities for continuous improvement
Maintain compliance with APS, ISO / IATF 16949 standards
Ensure completion of work orders in ERP systems and maintain production data accuracy
Follow escalation matrix during downtime or critical issues
Ensure execution of audits including LPA, 5S, and OPM schedules
Maintain shop floor discipline, 5S standards, and documentation
Handle manpower-related concerns and escalate with recommended actions
If you have/are:
BE in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
6–8 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or industrial engineering roles
Experience in managing high-volume and complex production lines
Strong manpower handling and team leadership skills
Good analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
Experience in production planning and process optimization
Exposure to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
Strong communication skills in English and Tamil
Willingness to work in shift operations
