Responsibilities
- Make detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production plans according to the long-term master plan.
- Ensure full use of personnel and equipment capacity.
- Reasonably control and arrange material inventory.
- Consider customer order priority.
- Directly responsible for purchasing materials to ensure smooth production.
- Optimize raw material inventory level and reduce cost.
- Managed production orders and worked closely with the production team manager.
- Make detailed daily, weekly and monthly plans to ensure that all materials were accurately sent to the production workshop and all production deliverables were met.
- Capable of personnel management, reasonably controlled the arrangement of workshop personnel and overtime work according to the status of production orders.
- Analyze forecast, cost and capacity to improve capacity balance and delivery balance by defining the bottleneck equipment, and ensure the optimal utilization of the production capacity.
- Prepare periodic reports to determine the accuracy of the plan and the main reasons for the failure to achieve the plan, and take corresponding corrective and preventive actions.
- Capable of supplier management, responsible for direct purchase of materials to meet production plan execution, including order creation, delivery, confirmation and receiving follow-up.
- Work with purchasing department and other relevant departments to improve supplier quality.
- Forecast calculation and share with suppliers.
- Check weekly and monthly payments with supplier, invoice in AX, register and submit payment tracking.
- Responsible for establishing and updating MRP/AX parameters of the system (minimum inventory level, multiple specifications, minimum/maximum order quantity, cycle, supplier delivery time, etc.) to shorten the delivery cycle and improve customer satisfaction.
- Set up reasonable storage plan/location for materials, including system and actual goods/lot /ROP/ safety stock, and manage the best stock level.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical/logistics/foreign trade is preferred.
- 3-5 years working experience in production planning.
- More than 3 years working experience in metal processing materials and production planning, as well as inventory control.
- Able to create and read flow charts and develop standard planning processes.
- Familiar with bill of materials, production route and standard time.
- Familiar with Office software and ERP system, and Microsoft dynamic system if possible.
- Get used to working in a production environment.
- Be proactive, creative and drive change.
- Self-motivated, organized and good at getting things done.
- Teamwork spirit, good communication skills with relevant departments and personnel.
- Good English reading and writing skills, good oral expression skills; Ability to speak/write in a meeting setting.
