Responsibilities
- Monitor production costs, unit costs, inventory impacts, and cost efficiency.
- Provide meaningful analyses, KPIs, performance evaluations, cost reports, and business insights.
- Identify trends, improvement opportunities, and performance drivers to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other Load & Haul production units globally.
- Participate in monthly closing activities and forecasting processes.
- Develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analyses using large datasets.
- Turn data into actions that improve performance, efficiency, and sustainable business growth.
Requirements
- Relevant educational background, such as a master's degree in finance, accounting, business, industrial engineering or a related field.
- A few years of experience in a similar controlling, finance, or business analytics role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of production processes, manufacturing cost structures, inventory valuation principles, and cost accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial processes is essential.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and possessing strong analytical skills.
- Excellent skills in Excel and Power BI.
- Fluency in Finnish and English is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with data modeling and modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, SQL or similar technologies is considered an advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems and business processes in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Lean ERP is considered an advantage.
- Proactive, curious, and solution-oriented personality.
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand the bigger picture and communicate complex topics clearly.
- Confident in challenging existing ways of working.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
