Ericsson is seeking a Product Owner for their Network Management Engineering Unit in Budapest, Hungary. This role focuses on leading product development, driving continuous improvements, and ensuring the right balance of scope, quality, time, and cost. The Product Owner will coach individuals and teams, foster a learning culture, and collaborate closely with a Cross Functional Team to deliver value and maintain product quality.
Responsibilities
- Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes
- Work with the project on higher level plans
- Prioritize the Team Product Backlog according to market value
- Stand up for product quality and integrity by setting the Definition of Done and Acceptance Criteria for Cross Functional Team deliverables
- Focus heavily on delivering value for the customer on time with quality
- Be responsible for features that the teams are working on, owning the features and providing transparency towards business and customer representatives
- Participate in the release/integration activities (accepting the User Story based on the Acc. Criteria and the DoD which is integrated to the delivery branch and tested green…), constantly sharing/radiating the evolving estimations of the feature development
- Work together as a group to generate a consistent set of priorities (Product Backlog) and handle interdependencies between feature deliveries
- Active participation in global PO community to improve product level processes
- Break down epics to E2E user stories
- Run affinity estimation (big wall) exercise and to create epic burnup chart
- Drive product backlog refinements (groomings) and user story estimations
- Participate in sprint planning to prioritize user stories and set sprint goals
- Verify in sprint reviews whether the DoD and Acceptance Criteria are met
- Participate in sprint retrospectives
- Answer questions and clarify requirements
Requirements
- Experience working with Scrum
- Identify customer value and customer risk
- Understand product quality and measurements
- Clarify and break down customer requirements to User Stories
- Understand cross functional teams’s rationale for design choices
- Ability to prioritize clashing requirements
