Vattenfall is seeking a passionate Product Owner Protocols & Smart Charging to drive the development of applications for charger communication, smart charging, and energy optimization within their E-Mobility organization. This role, based in Berlin, Amsterdam, or Solna, requires a Master's degree, experience in E-Mobility and Agile environments, and strong product ownership skills to shape the future of sustainable transportation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the vision, roadmap, and priorities for smart charging and communication platforms.
- Ensure applications support business and technical requirements aligned with E-Mobility's strategy.
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize features based on business value.
- Drive the implementation of new capabilities, including documentation, training, and change management.
- Support the development, maintenance, and scaling of energy management and charger communication solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric products.
- Manage relationships with IT suppliers for reliable operations and continuous improvement.
- Ensure systems support efficient operational processes, financial handling, and compliance.
- Evaluate how new increments fit within the broader application lifecycle and architecture.
- Communicate product strategy and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience within E-Mobility, ideally with energy management systems, smart charging solutions, or communication platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital product development and application lifecycle management.
- Experience working in Agile environments and with Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of energy management concepts and IoT-based communication principles.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes in an international matrix organization.
- Experience developing product strategies and presenting recommendations to senior management.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, disciplines, and countries.
