Responsibilities
- Manage the Kwikset Security Series portfolio from new product creation through end-of-life.
- Own portfolio performance and influence commercial activities, including roadmapping, manufacturing specifications, marketing, and sales strategies.
- Support cross-functional teams in new product development projects through milestone processes.
- Develop and execute strategic product road development based on market, channel, and customer dynamics.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, product adjacencies, customers, and markets.
- Develop NPI scope documents, including financials, KPIs, and timeline management.
- Conduct supplier and factory trips as needed.
- Present to and interact with senior level internal and external customers.
- Participate in the annual strategic planning process.
- Supervise one employee, focusing on development, performance feedback, and team effectiveness.
- Support brand guidelines for consistency in packaging and collateral.
- Work with quality and brand teams to support installation workshops and videos.
- Manage sales and gross margin performance of the portfolio, including pricing and P&L.
- Own the product life cycle, including set-up documentation and SKU rationalization.
- Support management of online databases for internal and external websites.
- Manage product documentation and mix, generating required reports and tools.
- Create impactful initiatives to drive business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in consumer electronic product management.
- Strategic Thinking and Planning capability and experience.
- Detail-oriented.
- Superior presentation skills.
- Proven Project Management experience.
- Business / Financial acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team leader and team player who values and collects input from others.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- High level of personal motivation and initiative.
