IKEA is seeking two temporary Product Lifecycle Engineers for a 12-month period to support the Range Area Kitchen & Bathroom division. This role involves crucial administration, documentation, and verification activities to ensure product information is accurate and compliant with IKEA's standards.

Responsibilities

Perform moderate changes on product documentation, including technical requirements, compliance marking, and packaging solutions.
Support the engineering team in running range operations.
Assist in verification and validation activities, such as assembling and testing furniture.
Ensure technical product information is up-to-date and adheres to IKEA documentation guidelines and standards.
Identify and address gaps in product documentation.
Take responsibility for the legal compliance marking of products.
Participate in projects for product updates.

Requirements

Engineering background.
Passion for technical administration, legal compliance, and product documentation.
Strong communication skills in English.
Ability to create confidence and build relations.
Self-motivated and goal- and delivery-oriented.
Passion for details.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge in 3D drawings and SolidWorks is an added advantage.
Familiarity with IT tools for product information is an added advantage.
Committed and self-driven with a strong will to influence and make a difference.
Work in a structured way with analytical skills.
Ability to take the lead in planning and executing own work and contacts with stakeholders.
Comfortable working with repetitive tasks and getting energy from completing them.
