Emerson is looking for a Product Engineering Co-Op to provide technical support for their product line, assist with new product designs and modifications, and troubleshoot performance issues. Responsibilities
- Assist Product Engineering team with technical support for existing product line.
- Assist with the evaluation of new product designs, modifications to existing product, and design of valve constructions for critical service applications.
- Troubleshoot valve performance or manufacturing issues while completing engineering analyses to provide a solution to the root cause.
- Provide engineering support to the Global Sales Offices by assisting with technical quotation details for new valve offerings.
- Assist with the daily execution of products orders involving design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction.
- Develop and streamline digital tools used for design and validation of new and existing products.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering or a closely related field.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at location (Marshalltown, IA).
Desired Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
- GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Prior internship experience.
