Saab is seeking a Product Engineer in West Lafayette, IN to support product and process changes, collaborating with colleagues in Sweden. Responsibilities

Conduct change investigations to identify root causes and assess the potential impact of internal change requests.
Administer Change Board meetings, capture meeting minutes and decisions, and coordinate the timely implementation of changes.
Evaluate change-related risks across functions and support the development of mitigation plans.
Collaborate with functional stakeholders to build awareness and alignment before incorporating changes.
Confirm change incorporation and address unplanned impacts.
Process Engineering Coordination memos, including writing, distribution, upload and download from the supplier portal.
Support continuous product and process improvements.
Contribute to a people-first culture aligned with Saab’s leadership vision.
Support management of the aircraft production configuration and ensure product conformity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of the aerospace industry or experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs is preferred.
Familiarity with aerospace components and change-management processes is preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in an international environment is a plus.
Familiarity with AS9100 or a comparable quality-management standard is preferred.
Relevant project management or industry certifications are a plus.
Experience with 3DX, Solumina, or IFS is preferred.
