Tetra Pak seeks a Process Engineer in Monza, Italy to design food processing solutions, manage capital and process projects from concept to optimization, and support site supervision and commissioning. This role requires a technical background, over 2 years of experience in process engineering, and fluency in English and Greek.

Responsibilities

  • Design food processing solutions for Dairy production plants.
  • Select and size components and materials based on product requirements and food safety standards.
  • Develop process solutions from understanding phase to final delivery and customer training.
  • Collaborate within a project team on electrical, mechanical, automation, and functional engineering aspects.
  • Provide site supervision and commissioning support for project delivery.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders (quality, supply management, technical service).
  • Develop solutions for customers in a pre-project team, including sales support and budget development.
  • Manage planning, purchasing, and coordinating the installation and implementation of processes and equipment.
  • Participate in international projects across Italy, Greece, Israel, and Cyprus.
  • Drive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the General Manager with strategic projects for the Countertop business.

Requirements

  • Technical background with a degree in Engineering.
  • More than 2 years of experience in process engineering.
  • Good MS Office skills.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and problem-solving competencies.
  • Creativity, action- and result-oriented mindset.
  • Open communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and result-driven.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Analytical mindset and proactive approach.
  • High level of communication and cooperation skills, especially with Project Engineering, Supply Management, Product Management, After Sales, and Suppliers.
  • Fluency in English and Greek (communication and technical).

Desired Qualifications

  • Food industry experience is an advantage; pharma and Oil/Gas experience will be evaluated.
  • Knowledge in product information management is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Heat Exchangers in the food industry.
  • Knowledge of UHT production process and experience with real cases at customer site.
