We are seeking a detail-oriented fresher for an entry-level Process Associate role in our Finance team, focusing on Accounts Receivable. This position involves supporting cash application, collections, and AR reconciliation activities, ensuring accurate payment posting and monitoring outstanding invoices.
Responsibilities
- Post customer payments (cash, cheque, wire transfers, online payments) to the correct invoices and accounts.
- Apply payments accurately against open invoices in ERP systems.
- Identify and resolve unidentified or partial payments.
- Maintain proper documentation of payment receipts and adjustments.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and track overdue payments.
- Send reminders and follow-ups for payment collection.
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve payment delays.
- Assist in preparing aging reports and collection status updates.
- Maintain records of collections, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare basic AR reports such as aging analysis and payment status reports.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts (debits, credits, invoices, receivables).
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
