Ericsson is seeking a Pre-Troubleshoot Technician in Lewisville, Texas, to support mechanical assembly and disassembly of Radio Base-station Units. This role involves performing leak tests, identifying mechanical issues, and contributing to root cause analysis to ensure product quality and meet production needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of Radio Base-station Units (RBU's).
- Conduct Air Leak Testing (ALT) operations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and cosmetic issues from Production.
- Perform root cause analysis and defect identification.
- Ensure product conformity through basic quality auditing.
- Handle thermal paste dispensing robot during assembly/disassembly.
- Clean product components (thermal paste, grease) during assembly/disassembly.
- Support daily intake of units and manage their flow through the repair process.
Requirements
- High school diploma, technical school preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing/Production environment.
- Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic tools.
- Experience on equipment maintenance.
- Experience as a product test operator.
- Ability to resolve problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and be organized and structured.
- English proficiency (spoken and written) with effective communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required.
