Responsibilities

  • Follow instructions to meet delivery targets.
  • Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective parts.
  • Inspect equipment for proper performance and identify faults.
  • Compile parts and labor estimates for repairs.
  • Move material into the paint booth.
  • Prepare pieces for painting.
  • Verify paint color of each component.
  • Paint pieces to provide a professional finish.
  • Tag or label each piece with the correct job number.
  • Organize and rack painted pieces by sub-job component.
  • Move painted pieces to the appropriate location.
  • Keep area clean and maintain paint equipment and facility.

Requirements

  • H.S Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience with industry-specific equipment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, stand for extended periods, and safely use tools and service equipment.
  • Strong commitment to safety, customer service, teamwork, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete work in a safe and timely manner.
  • Flexibility to conduct shift work.
  • Overtime required as needed.
  • Ability to work as part of an integrated team.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Effective customer relations skills.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States on an indefinite basis without employer sponsorship.
