ABB is seeking a proactive Operations Support Intern for their Motion Services team in Singapore. This hybrid internship provides hands-on experience in production planning, demand forecasting, supply planning, and operational excellence, collaborating with various departments to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Support production planning and scheduling activities, including demand forecasting, production plans, delivery commitments, and capacity planning.
  • Analyze operational and planning data to support inventory management, production reporting, forecast accuracy, bottleneck identification, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining ERP and planning systems, managing planning parameters, reviewing MRP information, and ensuring accurate operational data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Planning & Fulfillment, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations) to support daily planning, resolve issues, and improve planning effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for working with large datasets, reports, and dashboards.
  • Demonstrated interest in supply chain, production planning, forecasting, manufacturing operations, or business process improvement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, adhering to ABB's values of safety, integrity, and professionalism.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), automation tools, or AI-assisted productivity solutions is an advantage.
