As an Onsite Service Engineer, you will provide expert repair services for technology solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. Responsibilities include inspecting, servicing, and repairing technical systems, performing installations, and acting as the on-site contact to address customer needs. This role requires a High School Diploma, 1-3 years of technical experience, and strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems.
  • Diagnose issues to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Perform installations and ensure safety compliance.
  • Document all activities.
  • Act as the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
  • Share technical expertise and knowledge, and provide coaching to less experienced team members.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1-3 years of equivalent experience in a relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum.
  • Customer facing experience is ideal.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Self-directed, with the ability to understand and resolve problems and escalate when required.
  • Ability to proactively seek customer feedback.
  • Ability to collaborate and support team members.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and standards.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly.
  • Able to use computer software to record data and write reports.
  • Can understand and interpret technical documentation relevant to work e.g., technical drawings.

Desired Qualifications

  • AS degree preferred (full military equivalent may substitute for AS degree).
