Wir suchen einen talentierten Node.js-Entwickler für unser Advanced Technology Centre in Newcastle. Sie werden eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Entwicklung moderner Cloud-native-Anwendungen spielen und mit einem kollaborativen Team zusammenarbeiten, um komplexe Geschäftsprobleme zu lösen. Diese hybride Rolle erfordert mindestens drei Tage pro Woche im Büro.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modern applications using Node.js and cloud-native technologies.
Build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that meet business and user needs.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
Participate in technical discussions and contribute ideas that improve solutions and delivery approaches.
Conduct code reviews and support engineering best practices across the team.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while continuously improving application performance.
Identify opportunities to enhance development processes, tooling, and ways of working.
Take ownership of your work while continuing to develop your technical expertise.

Requirements

Node.js
AWS Serverless technologies
TypeScript
JavaScript
MongoDB
Build management and deployment processes
AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
Design and build enablement within agile delivery environments

Desired Qualifications

Experience developing cloud-native applications
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience working within agile teams
Knowledge of software engineering best practices and secure coding principles
