Emerson seeks a Materials Process Manager in Mexico to optimize inventory, implement fulfillment strategies, and enhance materials planning. The role requires collaboration, analytical skills, and ERP system expertise to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive inventory programs to achieve monthly inventory and Inventory Turnover (ITO) targets.
  • Partner with finance and operations teams to set inventory goals.
  • Implement consistent fulfillment processes to support on-time delivery.
  • Develop and execute strategies for raw materials through finished goods.
  • Identify constraints, improve product cycle times, and enhance competitiveness.
  • Create and maintain analytic dashboards and predictive tools.
  • Provide training, build documentation, and establish mentorship programs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on ERP projects and advocate for supply chain requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or high school diploma/GED with 9+ years of experience in materials or project management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in materials management, operations, or project management using ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems for inventory, purchasing, order management, and advanced supply chain planning.

Desired Qualifications

  • Project management expertise with ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with production control systems and routines.
  • ASCM certifications (CPIM or CSCP) preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with proven ability to influence and inspire change.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including experience creating ad hoc SQL queries and leveraging data visualization tools for insights and decision-making.
