The Maintenance Supervisor leads and coordinates all maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems. This role involves supervising maintenance staff, managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and driving continuous improvement to enhance equipment uptime and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all maintenance activities for safe, efficient, and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment, facilities, utilities, and support systems.
  • Supervise maintenance technicians and support personnel, planning, scheduling, and assigning daily activities.
  • Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for production equipment, facility systems, and utilities.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC equipment.
  • Manage maintenance work orders and equipment records within the CMMS.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage departmental budgets and expenses.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on process improvements and equipment upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies.
  • Support root cause analysis, lean manufacturing initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting CNC machining equipment, automated manufacturing systems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Strong leadership and employee development skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, controls, motors, drives, and CNC equipment.
  • Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability to respond to equipment emergencies outside normal working hours when required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
