The Maintenance Supervisor leads and coordinates all maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all maintenance activities for safe, efficient, and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment, facilities, utilities, and support systems.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and support personnel, planning, scheduling, and assigning daily activities.
- Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for production equipment, facility systems, and utilities.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC equipment.
- Manage maintenance work orders and equipment records within the CMMS.
- Develop, monitor, and manage departmental budgets and expenses.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on process improvements and equipment upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies.
- Support root cause analysis, lean manufacturing initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Experience supporting CNC machining equipment, automated manufacturing systems, and facility infrastructure.
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Strong leadership and employee development skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, controls, motors, drives, and CNC equipment.
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to respond to equipment emergencies outside normal working hours when required.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
