Responsibilities
- Operate process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials into components or finished parts.
- Execute assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and ABB standard processes and safety guidelines.
- Operate machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.
- Perform routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairing and fitting simple replacement parts.
- Ensure regular standard maintenance of equipment, tools set-up, programming activities, and troubleshooting.
- Report any non-compliance, issues, or problems encountered during operation or maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Keep track of approved, defective units, and final products.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years manufacturing/industrial/machine operation preferred
