Responsibilities

Linux Platform and Kernel Stability Engineering.
Customer Engineering.
Debugging multi-tasking code.
Developing code to run under an RTOS and using semaphores, mutexes, queues, and IPC.
Writing secure code and following coding guidelines.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.
Embedded systems industry experience.
Competency in the 'C' programming language.
Ability to use a debugger (gdb, T32) for operations like setting breakpoints, examining variable values, memory, and registers.
In-depth knowledge of the Linux Kernel Memory, Scheduler and Drivers
Android OS and Build System expertise
Familiarity with scripting languages like Perl and Python.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
