Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage RHEL-based environments across cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
- Manage the full lifecycle of Linux systems, including builds, upgrades, patching, and decommissioning.
- Automate and manage configurations using Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), or similar tools.
- Develop scripts using Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
- Implement and maintain OS hardening standards (e.g., CIS benchmarks).
- Monitor system health, availability, and performance.
- Support Linux workloads running in Azure.
- Manage Azure DevOps projects, pipelines, and access permissions.
- Support backlog management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- A degree in IT, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Experience with automation tools, preferably Ansible.
- Experience with scripting in Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell.
- Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of security best practices, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience working with cloud services (Azure experience is an advantage).
- Ability to work independently and as part of an international team.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
