Responsibilities
- Designing and building scalable, secure, and customized Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Customizing Salesforce workflows, custom objects, and automation tools.
- Integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs and web services.
- Troubleshooting and debugging technical issues to ensure system reliability.
- Implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Applying design patterns for complex application building.
- Collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and team members.
- Enhancing user experience using Salesforce Lightning.
- Optimizing data workflows, data modeling, and reporting mechanisms.
- Developing dashboards and analytics tools.
- Staying current with new Salesforce features and solutions.
- Communicating technical concepts effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborating effectively with development teams and stakeholders.
- Adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
- Managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Guiding and mentoring team members, providing technical direction.
- Understanding business processes and how Salesforce can support them.
Requirements
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I or II, App Builder or Administrator).
- Proficiency in Apex, JavaScript, SOQL, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with Python, MySQL, or other database tools.
- Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Expertise in data modelling, debugging, and implementing Salesforce solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, Visualforce pages, automation tools, and dashboards.
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- 8 years plus of demonstrable experience in SalesForce development.
- Proficient understanding of Salesforce administration, including Salesforce lightning framework, Salesforce service cloud and Salesforce marketing cloud.
- Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce and other Salesforce development technologies.
- Understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships and fields.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong Functional and analytical analysis skills and experience.
