We are seeking a Lead Consultant with strong module expertise in SAP Ariba (Buying and Invoicing, Guided Buying, SLP, Contract Management) and deep understanding of source-to-pay and procure-to-pay cycles. The role involves leading design discussions, configuration, integration with ERP systems, and user training for clients in Chennai, India.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business blueprint design and map indirect procurement processes to SAP Ariba solutions.
  • Configure Buyer, Invoicing, Guided Buying, and Sourcing modules based on client needs.
  • Work with technical teams to link SAP Ariba with ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA using SAP Integration Suite.
  • Resolve Tier-2 and Tier-3 tickets, troubleshoot workflow errors, and fix master data issues.
  • Conduct workshops and write user guides for internal buyers and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Guided Buying, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP), and Contract Management.
  • Deep understanding of source-to-pay (S2P) and procure-to-pay (P2P) cycles for indirect goods and services.
  • Ability to read CIF/PunchOut catalog files, understand API/web service logs, and review master data (suppliers, cost centers, accounting).
  • Strong client-facing skills to lead design discussions and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Individual contributor with very strong hands-on experience.
