Laboratory Engineer (Consulting Assignment)

We are currently looking for a Laboratory Engineer for an assignment within material analysis and packaging technology.

In this role, you will work in a laboratory environment performing analysis and testing of paperboard and packaging materials. The work includes laboratory testing, documentation of results, data handling in LIMS and supporting continuous improvements of laboratory processes and methods.

Examples of test areas include:

• Paperboard analysis

• Mechanical and physical testing of packaging materials

• Adhesion testing between packaging material layers

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous laboratory experience

• A structured and quality-focused mindset

• Ability to work accurately according to established procedures

• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English

• A positive, flexible and collaborative attitude

Experience from material analysis, packaging or manufacturing environments is considered an advantage.

Additional information:

• Start: August 2026

• Assignment period: Until February 2027, with possibility of extension

• Location: On-site in Lund

• Drug and alcohol testing will be conducted before assignment start
