Sandvik is seeking a Key Account Manager in Jakarta, Indonesia to manage strategic customer relationships, grow market share, and align customer needs with Sandvik's offerings. This role involves developing account plans, fostering customer loyalty, and coordinating internal teams to deliver value-based solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with assigned strategic customers to strengthen loyalty, increase market share, and support sustainable account growth.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive Account Business Plans.
  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders at various levels.
  • Coordinate account activities across multiple Sandvik business lines and functions.
  • Communicate Sandvik’s value proposition and apply value-based selling principles.
  • Identify, qualify, and progress new revenue opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Monitor account performance and initiate corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate account, stakeholder, opportunity, activity, and forecast information in CRM tools.
  • Facilitate clear information flow between customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Apply sound commercial judgment and comply with all relevant requirements before making commitments.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with Sandvik’s EHS Vision and Zero Harm principles.
  • Share account-management practices and provide functional guidance to colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5–8 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably within mining, manufacturing, engineering, or another heavy industry.
  • Proven experience managing strategic customer accounts and developing account or sales strategies.
  • Experience in market analysis, value-based selling, customer relationship management, opportunity development, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems and digital tools used for account planning, opportunity management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • English proficiency appropriate for business communication.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between customer sites within Indonesia and internationally when required.
  • Intermediate English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Right to live and work in Indonesia.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in mining, manufacturing, engineering, or another heavy industry is preferred.
  • Pre-employment medical required.
