Arla is seeking a Junior Internal Audit Manager for their Dubai office. This role focuses on ensuring a strong internal control environment through policy development, implementation, and compliance monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least 3 years of auditing or accounting experience.
Responsibilities
- Identify business objectives, risks, and evaluate key controls.
- Assist in the design and execution of operational audits to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Develop preliminary findings and realistic recommendations to improve/enhance the internal control environment.
- Assist in testing the effectiveness of the company’s internal controls and work with management to ensure remediation is implemented for identified deficiencies.
- Ensure Arla Minimum Controls are followed as specified by the catalogue.
- Visit remote depots/functional divisions to assess internal controls periodically and report audit findings with an improvement plan to top management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in private or public accounting, auditing, or consulting.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent active listening, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Great team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
