Responsibilities

  • Leverage degree to make an immediate impact on one of Qualcomm’s numerous technologies within the IT Infrastructure & Cloud track.
  • Gain practical experience developing software or meeting operational needs with code and scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, and/or Java).
  • Work with automation tools development, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins), source control management, software integration, scripting, and in a DevOps environment (e.g., Ansible).
  • Gain experience in IT infrastructure, networking, infrastructure automation, end-user services, collaboration, and communication tools.
  • Learn about servers (physical, virtual), cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP), and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Gain Python web development experience.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Must be available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2027 (May–September).
  • Expected graduation date of November 2027 or later.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Candidates actively pursuing a degree with an anticipated graduation between November 2027 and June 2028.
  • Practical experience developing software or meeting operational needs with code and scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, and/or Java).
