Responsibilities

  • Create solutions that improve everyday lives in a sustainable way.
  • Act as the strategic interface for factories in all aspects of IT.
  • Facilitate digital transformation and AI-driven digitalization.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals in the EA Region to deliver IT solutions/services to factories.
  • Innovate and re-imagine life at home.
  • Influence factory leadership strategy.
  • Take responsibility for the local IT environment (applications, infrastructure, workplace), vendors, and IT services.
  • Ensure a secure, reliable, available, compliant, and cost-effective IT environment.
  • Monitor IT solutions for compliance with standards, security requirements, and governance processes.
  • Work with global IT teams to maintain operational excellence for remotely delivered solutions and services.
  • Facilitate convergence of ideas and requirements with IT delivery.
  • Align technology solutions with business strategies.
  • Manage the IT-related project portfolio and pipeline, measuring benefits from IT investments.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, AI-driven digitalization, and process excellence.
  • Participate in steering committees for IT-related projects.
  • Manage IT budgets.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT.
  • At least 5 years of previous experience in manufacturing units.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP and production control systems/MES.
  • Experience in utilizing Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) methodology, including incident management, change management, and asset management.
  • ITIL knowledge and certification is required.
  • Experience in management of contracts and negotiation with external vendors.
  • Familiar with AI fundamentals, tools, and platforms (e.g., MS Azure AI, Copilot, automation tools) and proven achievements in AI-driven digital transformation.
  • Strong understanding of PC hardware, IT infrastructure, and cloud architecture.
  • Solid knowledge of networking principles and technologies.
  • Familiar with factory automation systems (HMI/SCADA and IoT devices) and OT infrastructure.

  • SAP/ERP knowledge is a plus.
