Responsibilities
- Lead a team within a production unit or line to transform parts and raw materials into ABB products efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards.
- Identify deficiencies, propose improvements, and oversee actions to enhance production performance.
- Organize and allocate resources to meet line production targets and respond to resource issues.
- Lead capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line.
- Ensure production scheduling and plans meet volume requirements and service levels.
- Maintain high product quality levels and the effective running of production and quality systems.
- Chair regular quality improvement and Gemba meetings.
- Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
- Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree, major in engineering or related.
- 3+ years of experience in people management.
- 5+ years of experience in Process control, Production / Manufacturing, or Quality Management.
- Knowledge of business, engineering, production methods and planning, subcontracting, logistics, and quality assurance.
- Determined and active attitude and project management skills.
- Pro-active approach.
- Fluent in English.
- Cross-cultural understanding.
