As an International Service Engineer (Electrical) for Framo Nederland, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and repair on advanced marine pumping and control systems worldwide. This role requires a technical education at MBO level, good English proficiency, and a willingness to travel extensively, including sailing on vessels.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, commissioning, and service activities on marine equipment and systems, including FRAMO pumping systems.
- Prepare service jobs for efficient execution in accordance with established procedures and service standards.
- Travel worldwide to vessels, shipyards, and customer locations, including sailing with vessels when required.
- Diagnose electrical and control system faults, as well as hydraulic and mechanical issues, and provide effective technical solutions.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company and customer requirements.
- Document findings, actions, and recommendations in detailed service reports.
- Register working hours and expenses.
- Obtain customer sign-off and maintain professional communication throughout service assignments.
- Provide technical advice to customers and feedback to internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and technical competence.
Requirements
- Technical education at MBO level, preferably in electrical engineering.
- Strong focus on service and customers.
- Interest in pumping systems and shipping.
- Good English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel worldwide and to sail with vessels when required.
- Flexibility: no 9-to-5 mentality, and reasonable availability on weekends and public holidays by arrangement.
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibility well.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably based in South Holland (Zuid-Holland).
