Responsibilities
- Perform service and installation according to manufacturers' procedures.
- Document time, problems, shortages, and inefficiencies.
- Ensure safe work practices and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repairs, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
- Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
- Maintain professional communication and provide exceptional customer service.
- Participate in training programs and on-call rotations after certification.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of direct industry, storefront door installation, or relevant experience (Storefront, Glazing, Doors, Aluminium Frames, Electrical, Glass, Automatic Doors, Hardware).
- Minimum age requirement of 21.
- Ability to obtain AAADM certification within six months of employment and maintain it.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
- Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
- Access control systems experience is a plus.
