Alstom is seeking a full-time Industrial Quality Engineer in Oslo, Norway, to manage site industrial quality activities, ensure implementation of quality processes, and oversee customer relationships and non-conformity management. The role requires a Master's degree in Engineering, expertise in quality management tools, knowledge of ISO standards, and strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Cover Quality activities in the NO5/NO6 project depots in Oslo, Norway.
  • Work closely with project management, operations, and engineering teams.
  • Manage the site industrial quality team.
  • Ensure the implementation of site quality processes.
  • Manage customer quality relationships and non-conformity.
  • Support handover activities from manufacturing to the PI site.
  • Support the inspection and delivery of new trains to the customer.
  • Support quality-related fleet checks.
  • Support the Improvement of Zero Defect Program.
  • Report defects and ensure product compliance (check after rework), especially for Special Processes.
  • Perform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework) according to the Quality Control Plan.
  • Lead customer inspections.
  • Maintain the CHB (car history book).
  • Participate in quality-related investigations.
  • Record inspection results in industrial digital tools.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, electronics) or equivalent.
  • Expertise in managing quality and problem-solving tools.
  • Knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001, ISO22163).
  • Fluency in English and Norwegian.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • German language skills (an asset).
  • Experience in quality auditing and process management (an asset).
