Industrial Engineer needed to join Qualcomm's Supply Chain Management team in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Responsibilities
- Responsible for capacity calculation/modeling of Bump, Probe, Assy and FT production.
- Utilize systematic tools or build general methods to drive efficient outputs, identify gaps, and develop tactical recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and process efficiencies.
- Collaborate and align closely with internal customers, Product Supply Planning, Global Capacity Planning, Operation, PTE, and Procurement.
- Ensure correct priorities are executed, system accuracy is aligned to requirements, and sourcing strategy is met.
- Work closely with suppliers to manage production elements such as process flow, capacity, planning parameters, and materials.
- Represent the team as a strong contributor in projects, integrations, and improvement meetings.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Industrial Engineering experiences in a semiconductor company and/or assembly and testing company.
- Fundamental understanding of manufacturing process and business.
- Fluent English ability on speaking, reading, and writing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Able to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skill, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with local and offshore suppliers.
- Advanced systems skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Visio.
- Capability for Macro, VBA, SQL, Database, Tableau and Power BI will be a plus.

- Experience driving cross-functional teams.
- Module and chipset manufacturing flow knowledge.
- Capacity planning experience.
- MMR and OEE management experience.
- Oracle MRP/ERP Knowledge.
- APICS CPIM certification.
- Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering work experience.
