Responsibilities
- Lead the development of production systems and working methods to achieve low production costs without compromising function and quality.
- Contribute to the development of new technical solutions and efficient production systems and assembly lines based on Lean principles.
- Drive improved process planning for current and new products.
- Standardize assembly practices and cycle times.
- Model short term and long-term production strategy for rate changes and headcount.
- Develop production flows and lay-outs.
- Drive continuous improvement for efficient production.
- Champion the Company values: Trust, Drive, Expertise, and Support.
- Undertake other project tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
- 2+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Driven, innovative, and takes initiative.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate across functional areas within an operation.
- Able to work extended or flexible schedule to support the business.
- Ability to work well independently, as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual.
