The Indirect Purchasing Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers for equipment, spare parts, and services related to distribution, material handling, and maintenance. This role focuses on cost effectiveness, supporting capital projects, and implementing sustainable sourcing practices. Requires a BS/BA in a business-related field, advanced English, and 6+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for respective categories.
  • Manage procurement of equipment, spares, and maintenance services.
  • Lead RFQ's, supplier negotiations, contract management, and commercial evaluations.
  • Analyze spend, market trends, and supplier capabilities to identify cost saving opportunities.
  • Partner with maintenance teams to evaluate technical specifications and supplier proposals.
  • Support capex projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, environmental regulations, and applicable industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while maintaining business continuity.
  • Utilize ERP and procurement systems for planning, purchasing, reporting, and performance management.

Requirements

  • BS or BA in Purchasing, SCM, Engineering, or another business-related field.
  • Advanced English skills.
  • 6+ Years Of Experience in a Purchasing role, Plant maintenance operations, or engineering.
  • Willingness to travel.
